تدين الكنيسة القبطية الأرثوذكسية وعلي رأسها قداسة البابا تواضروس الثانى بكل شدة الحادث الإرهابي الغاشم والذي أسفر عن استشهاد عدد من جنود مصر البواسل ورجال الشرطة الأعزاء عليها وتتقدم الكنيسة بخالص التعازي القلبية الى أهلنا شهداء الوطن طالبين من الله التعزية وان ينعم بالشفاء للمصابين وتدعو الشعب المصري بكافة قواه الوطنية للوقوف صفا واحدا خلف قيادتنا السياسة الحكيمة والاصطفاف نسيجا متماسكا في مواجهة أعداء الوطن لاتخاذ ما تراه من إجراءات مناسبة لردع هذه الهجمات الشريرة و ترفع الكنيسة المصريه صلوات يومية من أجل ان يحغظ الله بﻻدنا العزيزه مصر بكل ابناءها و مقدراتها وان يمنحنا سلاما و هدوءا في قلوبنا جميعا

The Coptic Orthodox church, lead by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II strongly condemns the brutal terrorist incident which resulted in the martyrdom of several of Egypt’s brave soldiers and dear policemen. The church offers its sincere heartfelt condolences to the families of the nation’s martyrs, asking God for consolation and asking him for recovery for the injured. The church asks the Egyptian people with all its national forces to stand in one line behind our wise political leadership and to form a cohesive weave in the face of the enemies of our country, in order to take all the necessary measures to combat those vile attacks. The church also raises daily prayers for God to protect our dear country Egypt with its entire people and its resources and to give us heartfelt peace and calm.
