This Wednesday at the papal residence in Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received a delegation from the Bible Society headed by Eng. Amir Elhamy, the new Director for the Society, who assumed the position of Dr. Ramiz Atallah as his successor who successful and competently led the activities of the House for approximately 30 years. H.H. was told about the Society’s new release – the Holy Bible with explanatory backgrounds which took twenty years to prepare, reviewed several of the Society’s activities in the field of introducing the Holy Bible to all ages, and wished them success and growth in this service.
