This Sunday at the Papal Residence in Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received a group of youth from the Church of Archangel Michael of Howell, New Jersey, United States, accompanied by Heg. Augustine Daoud one of the priests of the church.
H.H. had a paternal session with the youth and spoke to them about Egypt and its ancient history. He also listened to their impressions of the places they visited during their tour of Egypt, stressing the importance of these visits which take them back to their Egyptian roots and deepen their sense of belonging.
At the end of the meeting, H.H. presented them with some gifts and the youth were eager to take a commemorative photo with H.H. the Pope.
H.H. Pope Tawadros II visited the Church of Archangel Michael in Howell and consecrated its altars during his pastoral visit to New Jersey in September 2018.
