This morning, H.H. Pope Tawadros II prayed the Divine Liturgy with the male and female youth who are participating in the “First Logos Forum for Youth”. This was in the Church of the Transfiguration, in the Logos Papal Centre; St Bishoy’s Monastery, Wadi el Natroun.

The opening of the forum, in which 200 male and female youth participants are representing the Egyptian dioceses, was held yesterday evening in Logos Papal Centre. This was in the presence of H.H. Pope Tawadros II and a number of bishops and priests.

It will continue until next Monday, under the theme of “Enjoy the Roots.” It is the first forum of its kind for the youth of the Church from Egypt. Previously, two similar weeks were held for the youth from the dioceses of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the lands of immigration. These were under the theme of “Back to the Roots”, with the aim of connecting the youth to their roots in the Mother Church and nation.
