It was decided to hold the funeral Service for His Grace, Bishop Karas the General Bishop of El Mahala El Kobra on Friday 12:00 pm in The Grand Cathedral of Saint Mark in Abbasia.

This evening, after a short struggle with illness, the venerable Bishop Father Anba Karas departed to the Lord in the hope of resurrection at the age of 63, having spent 38 years of his life in the monastic life, eight years of which he served as General Bishop of the Diocese of El Mahlah El Kobra.
