Today at the Papal Residence at Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received His Royal Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and his accompanying delegation.
His Holiness the Pope and His Highness the Prince exchanged words of welcome and thanks. H.H. also emphasized the depth of the love and bonding relations between Egypt and Jordan at all levels, along with the strong relationship between His Majesty King Abdullah and President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
H.H. in his speech thanked King Abdullah II for the love, affection and concern for the Egyptian citizens in Jordan, as well as the royal blessing that His Majesty gave to the Coptic Church’s private land in the blessed Baptism Area during H.H’s visit to Jordan in September 2016.
His Holiness the Pope and His Highness the Prince inspected the exhibition held by the Jordan Tourism Promotion Authority in the lobby opposite of St. Ruwais Theatre, where there are some products in the exhibition, in addition to a display of tourist and religious places in Jordan.
