His Holiness Pope Tawadros II witnessed this evening the ecclesiastical celebration held by the Diocese of Behira, Matrouh, Pentapolis & Five Western Cities on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the ordination of H.E. Metropolitan Pakhomious as a bishop of the diocese,
(12 December 1971 – 12 December 2021) in the vineyard of St. Mark at the Diocese’s headquarters in Damanhour.
The celebration included a hymn segment for the choir team and clips from the documentary film
“A Metropolitan of Gold”, as well as words by H.H. Pope Tawadros II and H.E. Metropolitan Endrawes, Metropolitan of Abu Tej, and concluded with a speech by H.E. Metropolitan Pakhomious.
The celebration was attended by several Metropolitans, Bishops, the congregation of priests of the diocese, and some of its people.
