Today at the Papal Residence in Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received Fr. Massimo Fusarelli, Superior General of Franciscan Order, who is currently visiting Egypt. The conversation was about the history of coptic monasticism and monasteries and their spread throughout the world, as well as the beginning of the Franciscan Order in Egypt and the worldFr. Mourad Megalaa, the regional servant of the Franciscan Order in Egypt and a delegation of Franciscan fathers also were there for attending the meeting.At the end of their meeting, H.H dedicated the delegation Franciscan, an icon of the Holy Family with some monastic books.
