Today, evening, H.H. Pope Tawadros II delivered his weekly sermon of Wednesday meeting from the church of Transfiguration at the papal residence at Logos Center in the Monastery of St. Bishoy in Wadi El Natroun. The sermon was broadcasted on the Official Coptic Website, the Christian satellite channels and the C.O.C channel of the Church’s Media Center on the Internet. and he reviewed the blessings of the Holy Week:
1- Full of Biblical readings
2- The many rituals considering this week
3- Deep melodies
4- Condolences.
5- Spiritual exercises.

H.H. pointed to the feelings of attachment and friendship with God through Psalm 27:
1- The continuous conversation with God at any time during the day “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thess 5:17).
2- The continuous consideration and being near to the Bible “How I love your law! All day long it is my meditation” (Psalm 119: 97).
3- To live with honesty all the time “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Rev 2:10).
4- Constant obedience “Behold, hearing is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22).
5- Keep thinking of God “One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His Temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall site me high upon a rock.” Psalm 27 : 4,5
