Today at the Papal Residence at St. Bishoy’s Monastery in Wadi El Natroun, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received the priests of the Diocese of Abnoub, Fattah & New Assiut; in the presence of H.G. Bishop Arsanious, Bishop of New Valley & The Oases and the Papal Vicar of Abnoub, after the departure of its Bishop, H.G. Bishop Lucas.
H.H. gave them a spiritual speech and answered their questions, and discussed with them the pastoral situation of the diocese and the selection of a new bishop for them, as the new episcopal ordination is expected to take place, in early June.
