Today, Tuesday, H.H. Pope Tawadros II congratulates the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed El Taieb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Mosque, on the blessed Al-Adha Feast.
This morning, H.H. visited the headquarters of the Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar, accompanied by a church delegation. The Grand Imam and the leaders of Al-Azhar University welcomed H.H.
His Holiness expressed his heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the blessed Al-Adha Feast, wishing the Grand Imam and all Egyptian Muslims peace, goodness and all the best.
H.H. stressed that such occasions are an opportunity to meet and exchange feelings of love and constructive ideas for the benefit of the nation.
Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb thanked His Holiness the Pope, expressing his appreciation for this visit, stressing the inherent love and brotherhood among all Egyptians.
