During the speech at the weekly Wednesday meeting, H.H Pope Tawadoros II referred to the passage of forty days of the relocation of the victims of the accident of the Church of martyr Abu Sefein in Imbaba, which will take place tomorrow. H.H asked for God’s consolation and help for their families, and a cure for the injured.
H.H’s text came as follows:
“I congratulate you on the Feast of the Cross next week, and the Feast of the Cross ends 17 days of the month of Toot, the joyous celebration of Nowruz, then 3 days of the Feast of the Cross.
We also remember our loved ones who passed away in the incident at the Imbaba Church, and the “Arbaeen” is tomorrow, and may God be with their families, complete the recovery of all the injured, and give grace and aid. As I told you before, these loved ones, whether they are old or young, they preceded us to heaven during their prayers inside the church and they were Fasting, for all these feelings reassure us about them, and those we love are always in our hearts and do not die because their memory is always present with us. We console all their families, all fathers, mothers, and children, and we tell them that our eyes are raised to heaven and we ask for the prayers of our loved ones who preceded us to heaven.”
