Today at the Papal Residence, Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received a number of new ambassadors who will leave soon to take up their duties as ambassadors of the Arab Republic of Egypt to a number of countries in the world. The ambassadors are:
Ambassador Salwa Mowafi, Egypt’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe
Ambassador Serenad Gemayel, Egypt’s Ambassador to Armenia
Ambassador Hani Salah, Egypt’s Ambassador to Sudan
Ambassador Wael Attia, Egypt’s ambassador to Kenya
Ambassador Mohamed Abu al-Khair, Egypt’s Consul in London
Ambassador Sherif Refaat, Egypt’s Ambassador to Sierra Leone
Ambassador Tamer Tawfik, Egypt’s Consul General in Paris
Ambassador Ehab Suleiman, Egypt’s Ambassador to Palestine
During the meeting, the dialogue revolved around the presence of Coptic Churches in the countries in which they will work and their activities in serving the communities in which they are located. His Holiness expressed his wishes for all of them success in performing their tasks.
