Today, His Holiness Pope Tawadros II visits the monastery of St. Macarius the Great, to follow up on work management in the monastery from all aspects.
His Holiness prayed the prayer of Thanksgiving upon arrival in the main church and took the blessings from the relics of the saints of the monastery. His Holiness held a spiritual gathering with the fathers of the monastery where he gave them a talk about the elements of our spiritual system and its relation with the fasts. His Holiness then listened to any queries they had and answered them.
At the end of the visit, His Holiness took a memorial picture with the monks of the monastery.
