Today, H.H. Pope Tawadros II Inaugurated the Website of the Holy Family Path with virtual reality (VR), which is established by “Blessed Egypt” Foundation for Development and Heritage Revival.
This was during a ceremony organized by the Foundation at St. Mark’s Cathedral this morning, which was within the framework of the Coptic Orthodox Church’s celebrations of the tenth anniversary of the Enthronement of His Holiness Pope Tawadros II.
His Holiness expressed his happiness that the Holy Family’s path is presented with advanced technology that encourages our youth to know more about the heritage of our country, referring to the importance of the path of the Holy Family that provides Egypt with tourism and economic growth, as well as a spiritual blessing. H.H. commended the “Blessed Egypt” Foundation’s interest in the path and its establishment of a website that describes the different steps, with translation to different languages to reach our to lot of people from around the world.
H.H. also commended the”Blessed Egypt” Foundation work on community development for the eight paths areas as one of its primary goals.
The virtual reality technology is also available which allows the possibility of visiting the Holy Family’s path in details, in addition to images, video presentations and detailed information about each point in seven languages: “Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian.”
