His Holiness Pope Tawadros II honored the Student Miral Nabil for winning the gold medal in the “The Magic of Friendships” competition, which was held in the State of Azerbaijan in 2022.
This came during the sermon at the weekly Wednesday meeting held this evening at the Church of the Virgin Mary and St. Bishoy in St. Mark’s Cathedral in Abbaseya, and about the winner, His Holiness said: Miral Nabil Nasim Nawar Saad, 14 years old, from St. John the Beloved Church in Helmeyet El Zeitoun, Cairo, and she studies in Notre Dame School in El Zeitoun for girls. She won the “The Magic of Friendships” competition in Azerbaijan (from Asia), won the first place in the world, and won the gold medal, where more than 4,000 contestants participated in drawing worldwide.
