On Monday evening, H.H. Pope Tawadros II visited “Beit El Naema” hospital, that is affiliated to St. Mary’s and St. Joseph’s Church, Semouha, under the umbrella of the General Secretariat of the Coptic Orthodox Church Hospitals, which was founded by the late Fr Michael Saad, the founder of the Beit El Naema service and the founder of the church.
H.H. inaugurated the reception and emergency department after its development to accommodate 10 beds to serve emergency patients, and also inaugurated the two clinics of the dental department after its development, and His Holiness visited the hospital pharmacy and the information and public relations department.
Then H.H. attended a ceremony honoring the outgoing board of directors of the hospital. The ceremony included many speeches from members of the previous and new boards of directors, church priests and officials of the general secretariat of hospitals.
Then H.H. honored the former council members who contributed and have an imprint in the hospital’s service.
His Holiness gave a spiritual speech on how to continue providing distinguished medical service through three aspects :
Appreciation: for those who made efforts
Renewal: for the facility and equipment
Development: in vision and ideas
