Today, Thursday, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo, H.E. Metropolitan Marcos, Metropolitan of Shubra El-Khaymah, and the supervisor of the celebrations of the Feast of the Martyr Saint George in Mit Damsis and the Feast of the Virgin Mary in Mostorod, and he is accompanied by members of the supporting committee, regarding the arrangements for celebrating the Feast of Saint Barsoum Al-Arian in his monastery in Al-Ma’asara.
His Holiness had issued a decision assigning H.E. Metropolitan Marcos, Metropolitan of Shubra El-Khaymah, to pastoral, financial and administrative supervision of the Monastery of Saint Barsoum Al-Arian in Al-Ma’asara, and to submit periodic reports in this regard to His Holiness.
