H.H. Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo today (Friday) Mr. Rami Al-Halsa, Director of SAT-7 Arabic Channels, accompanied by Mr. Maged Mounir, Director of SAT-7 Egypt and Mr. Amgad Samir who is responsible for relations with Churches at the SAT-7 Evangelical Media Center.

This visit coincides with the 28th anniversary of the launch of the channel. Mr. Rami Al-Halsa highlighted that SAT-7 channels are keen to cover societal issues in support of the communities that the channels’ broadcasts reach.

At the end of the meeting, His Holiness recorded a congratulatory message to the channel, its leaders and its employees on the occasion of the 28th anniversary, wishing them continued success.
