Today (Monday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Headquarters in Cairo Mr. András Kovacs, Ambassador of Hungary to Egypt, as he ends his work as his country’s ambassador to Egypt.

The Hungarian ambassador expressed his happiness with the four years he spent working in Egypt, noting that Egypt has become a special place for him and this will be the case for the rest of his life. Pope Tawadros wished him success in his next steps.

The meeting was attended by the monk Father Kyrillos Anba Bishoy, Director of the Office of His Holiness the Pope, and Mrs. Barbara Soliman, Director of the Papal Office for Projects and Relations.
