The Coptic Orthodox Church, headed by H.H. Pope Tawadros II, congratulates the ladies and gentlemen, members of the new government headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, on taking the constitutional oath marking the start of their work duties. The Church wishes them success in their grave responsibility that represents a great challenge in light of the basic and important obligations imposed by the current circumstances.

We pray that the Almighty God will bless their work and grant them success in meeting the aspirations and hopes of the great Egyptian people, and that they will be able to ease the people’s increasing burdens, leading to the achievement of the goals of the new republic under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
