This evening, H.H. Pope Tawadros II attended a ceremony honoring the holders of the preparatory certificate from St Mark’s Language School, Class of 2024.
The celebration included several segments, including a speech by the school’s principal, Father Abraam Emil (Deputy General of the Patriarchate in Alexandria, and the head of the school’s board of directors), in addition to a group of videos about the history of the school’s establishment, its vision and mission, and another video about the students’ reactions to the school and the extent of its impact on their personalities.
The ceremony concluded with a speech by His Holiness, followed by honoring the students. In his speech, Pope Tawadros praised the work of the school, appreciating the efforts of all its employees. He summarized the role of the school in three points:
• School is fun.
• School is an experience.
• School is life.
The ceremony was attended by the general bishops supervising the pastoral sectors in Alexandria, and a number of priests.
