Today (Monday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo, His Eminence Metropolitan Mor Yacoub Babawi, Patriarchal Vicar for Monastic Affairs of the Syriac Orthodox Church, and Director of Saint Ephrem Theological Seminary in Maarat Saydnaya, Syria, accompanied by Deacon Amjad Hazim from Saint Ephrem Theological Seminary.

The meeting was attended by Monk Father Kyrillos St. Bishoy, Director of the Office of His Holiness the Pope, and Dr. Girgis Saleh, Honorary Secretary General of the Middle East Council of Churches.
