This evening, H.H. Pope Tawadros II delivered his weekly sermon at the Wednesday meeting, from the “Holy Family House” for conferences in Wadi El-Natroun, as part of the activities of the Gulf Priests Conference. The sermon was broadcast on Christian satellite channels and the C.O.C channel of the Church’s Media Center on the Internet.
His Holiness thanked officials in the Gulf countries at all levels for their interest in the Coptic churches in their countries, and also their care for the Egyptians working there, who participate in development and progress in those countries.
In the sermon, His Holiness continued the series “Qualifications for Service,” in which for the fifth part he discussed a topic entitled “The Seven Dimensions of Service.” These are:
1- Happiness in service, through being present.
2- The vitality of the service, through renewal.
3- Guarding the service, through attention and alertness.
4- Success in the service, through staying up late.
5- Perfection of the service, through repentance.
6- Peace of the service, through giving and asceticism.
7- Work of the service, through humility.
