Today (Wednesday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Alexandria, Counselor Ali Qaranouh, Consul General of Lebanon in Alexandria.

The Consul expressed his happiness at meeting Pope Tawadros. He reassured His Holiness about the situation in Lebanon, who expressed his aspiration for calm and peace to prevail in this sister country.

The meeting was attended by Father Abraam Emil (General Deputy of the Patriarchate in Alexandria).
