Today (Saturday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II attended the closing of the seventh session of the summer language program, implemented by the Pontifical Office for Projects and Relations within the Eyes of Egypt programs for educational development, affiliated with the same office. As part of the summer language program, which began in the summer of 2016 for boys and girls aged 11 to 17 years old, English and French are taught.
Certificates were distributed to the course participants. Pope Tawadros was keen to meet the male and female students and teachers, encourage them, and have photos taken with them. He encouraged them to continue learning and gaining different experiences.
From 2016 until now, 1,895 students from Greater Cairo have benefited from the summer language program, including 310 male and female students who participated in the course that ended today.
This program is taught by teachers who come specifically from the United States of America and France to teach in it. The program aims to develop and build generations that keep pace with the times and are qualified for the global labor market.
