Today (Wednesday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II visited the Church of Saint Mary and the Three Saints Abba Macarii in Hannoville, affiliated with the churches in the west sector of Alexandria. Upon his arrival, Pope Tawadros was received by His Grace Bishop Elarion (the General Bishop of the churches of the western sector of Alexandria), the priests of the church, and a large number of priests of the western sector of Alexandria.

His Holiness was also received by H.G. Bishop Bavly (General Bishop of the churches of the Montazah Sector), and Hegumen Father Abraam Emil, (General Deputy of the Patriarchate in Alexandria).

Pope Tawadros took memorial photos with the fathers, then had a look at the construction work in the church and the buildings attached to it. These are the “Mark and Jacob Home” for child care and the Coptic Center for People with Special Needs, where he met the nursery children and those with special needs residing in the center. In a paternal spirit, His Holiness sat with them, talked to them, asked them, discussed with them, and ensured they were doing well. He encouraged them and distributed some sweets and gifts to them.
