Today (Sunday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received, at the Papal Residence in Cairo, Mr. Ahmed Ali Sherif, the new Egyptian Ambassador to South Africa.
The meeting was an opportunity to get to know each other, and they also talked about Egypt, the Coptic Church, and its spread throughout the world, including South Africa.
At the end of the meeting, His Holiness the Pope wished the ambassador success in his new role.
