Today (Sunday) at the Papal Residence in Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received Mr. Hrachia Poladian, Ambassador of Armenia to Egypt, and his wife, who came to receive His Holiness’ blessing before leaving the country after the end of his work here.

During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed his deep love for Egypt and his appreciation for the close relationship between the Coptic Church and its sister Armenian Church, praising the good relations between the two countries. For his part, His Holiness wished the Ambassador success in his future responsibilities.

The meeting was attended by the Monk Father Kyrillos St. Bishoy, Director of the Office of His Holiness the Pope, and Mrs. Barbara Soliman, Director of the Papal Office for Projects and Relations.
