Today (Tuesday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received, at the Papal Residence in Cairo, Ambassador Mariam Khalifa Al Kaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Egypt, and her accompanying delegation.

The meeting discussed the importance of peace and work to reject violence. The Emirati Ambassador referred to the Humanitarian City in the Emirates, which receives harmed people from all over the world, to provide them with full support in the educational, health and entertainment fields.

For his part, Pope Tawadros stressed the importance of alleviating the burdens on people, especially amid the difficult circumstances that many regions of the world are witnessing these days.

His Holiness thanked the United Arab Emirates for the great social and humanitarian role it plays in various parts of the world.
