Today (Tuesday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received Dr. Firas Habal (President of the Emirates Scholar Center for Research and Studies), the Vice President of the Board of Trustees, and their accompanying delegation.

The meeting focused on exploring ways to collaborate with the Coptic Orthodox Church to promote the values of peace and conduct joint research that contributes to community cohesion, as well as offering training programs using artificial intelligence techniques to support scientific research.

This meeting is part of the center’s efforts to enhance the position of the United Arab Emirates as an international scientific platform that contributes to fostering interfaith dialogue, strengthening connections between nations through scientific research, and emphasizing the role of youth in this context.

For his part, H.H. Pope Tawadros II provided an overview of the history of the Coptic Orthodox Church, highlighting the Church’s commitment to supporting national values and spreading peace, while emphasizing its role as an entity that is separate from politics but reflects national spirit. He also expressed his appreciation and encouragement for the center’s work and its role in connecting religious leaders, researchers, and politicians to strengthen joint cooperation.
