Today (Thursday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II attended the celebration marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Al-Karma Language School, affiliated with the Diocese of Maadi.

His Holiness was welcomed upon his arrival by His Eminence Metropolitan Danial, Metropolitan of Maadi and Secretary of the Holy Synod, along with school leaders. The event began with the playing of the national anthem, followed by a speech from H.E. Metropolitan Danial and another from Father Boutros Samy, Chairman of the School Board. The school’s students performed a welcome chant, after which Pope Tawadros addressed the students and honored several educational leaders.

His Holiness then toured the school’s international department, where a series of speeches and a documentary about the school were presented. He concluded the event by honoring the distinguished students.
