Today (Thursday), at the Papal Residence in Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II received Archimandrite Ieronymos, Acting Patriarch of Jerusalem for the Greek Orthodox Church in Greece, representing Patriarch Kyrios Theophilos III. Accompanying him was Archimandrite Damaskinos Azraei, Abbot of the Patriarchal Monastery of St. George for the Greek Orthodox Church in Old Cairo.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Girgis Saleh, Honorary Secretary-General of the Middle East Council of Churches.
