At the beginning of his sermon during today’s weekly Wednesday Meeting, H.H. Pope Tawadros II stated that having a church in a certain area provides religious stability. He noted that Egypt has started taking serious steps in this regard, emphasizing that religious stability fosters more productive and patriotic citizens, whereas restrictions do not create good citizens. He expressed gratitude to officials who support this stability and acknowledged the efforts of all those involved.
His Holiness delivered the Wednesday Meeting sermon this evening at the Church of Virgin Mary and St. Pope Kyrillos VI in Aghakhan, part of the Northern Shoubra churches district.
Pope Tawadros also praised the significant efforts of the Bible Society, highlighting its annual exhibitions held in all its branches across the country. He pointed out that the best way to improve our lives is by connecting with the Holy Bible. His Holiness encouraged giving Biblical gifts for children’s birthdays and other occasions. Pope Tawadros reviewed some of the Society’s recently published books and concluded by extending his greetings to the board of directors and all the staff of the Society.
