Today (Sunday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II met with a group of youth from the Diocese of Paris and Northern France, accompanied by H.G. Bishop Marc, the Monk Father Yashoua St. Bishoy, and Father Abram Shenouda, priests from the diocese. They came to Egypt to offer some services and visit the Holy Family’s trail.
The visit of the youth group from Northern France to Egypt aims to provide various services as part of the activities of the “HIGH” office, which specializes in coordinating between the Coptic Church dioceses abroad and the areas most in need of service within the dioceses in Egypt.
Pope Tawadros delivered a speech and answered their questions.
The Holy Synod, in its last session in March 2024, issued a decision to establish an office responsible for coordinating and organizing the services provided by the Coptic Church dioceses abroad to their brethren in Egypt. The office was named “HIGH,” an abbreviation for its slogan: “Hands in God’s Hand.”
