H.H. Pope Tawadros II received a group of youth from the Diocese of Austria at the Logos Center in the Monastery of Saint Bishoy in Wadi El-Natrun. They were accompanied by His Grace Bishop Gabriel, the Bishop of the Diocese. The group traveled to Egypt to provide services in certain areas for the tenth consecutive year.
His Holiness welcomed them, praising their dedication to service and their commitment over the past ten years. He also commended their continuous efforts for renewal and development in their service, as well as the spirit of cooperation that prevails among them and with different generations of servants involved in the same ministry.
The Diocese of Austria group participated in the Nineveh Fast liturgy, which was led by Pope Tawadros, with the participation of Their Graces Bishop Gabriel and Bishop Marc, Bishop of Paris and Northern France.
It is worth noting that the visit of the Diocese of Austria’s service group was coordinated with the “HIGH” office, which facilitates communication between Coptic Orthodox dioceses abroad and the areas most in need of service in Egypt. The office was established by a decision of the Holy Synod in its last session in March 2024 and is named “HIGH” as an acronym for its motto: “Hands in God’s Hand.”
