Today (Saturday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II visited the headquarters of the Coptic Girls’ College in Abbassia to mark the 110th anniversary of the founding of the Coptic Girls’ College Association.
His Holiness unveiled a commemorative plaque marking his visit on the occasion of the 110th anniversary. He also attended part of the school assembly, where he was warmly welcomed by the students, faculty, and staff. Additionally, he toured the school’s buildings, the association, and the affiliated institute, as well as the church attached to the school. He also watched a documentary about the history of the Coptic Girls’ College Association, its founding, and its notable alumni.
In his speech, Pope Tawadros expressed his appreciation and respect for all those working in the association, school, and institute. He praised their role in educating future generations and serving the community.
