Today (Wednesday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received Dr. Michel Abs, Secretary-General of the Middle East Council of Churches, at the Papal Residence in Cairo. He was accompanied by Rev. Refaat Fikry, Associate Secretary-General of the Council, Mrs. Lea Maamari, Communications and Media Coordinator of the Council, and Dr. Girgis Saleh, Honorary Secretary-General of the Council.

During the meeting, discussions revolved around the council’s activities over the past period.

Also in attendance were the Monk Fr. Emmanuel Al-Muharraqy, Director of the Papal Office, and Deacon Joseph Reda, Deacon of His Holiness.
