In his sermon during the weekly Wednesday meeting, delivered today from the Papal Residence in Cairo, H.H. Pope Tawadros II expressed his wishes for Pope Francis ( Pope of the Vatican), to recover and overcome his current health issue. His Holiness said: “We pray for his healing, that he may pass through this crisis in peace and return to his activities and service.”
Pope Tawadros added: “A few days ago, I delegated H.G. Bishop Bernaba (Bishop of Turin and Rome) to visit Pope Francis and convey our greetings and well wishes to him, and that in the Church, we are praying that God grants him healing, and good health.”
His Holiness also resumed his weekly meeting today after the feasts season, announcing that he will begin a new educational series titled: “Pairs in the Parables of Christ.” He explained that each parable contains both a positive and a negative example, from which we can learn together.
