Today (Tuesday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received Mr. Michał Murkociński, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Egypt, at the Papal Residence in Cairo.
The Polish ambassador expressed his happiness at being in Egypt, praising the distinguished relations between his country and Egypt. The meeting also discussed fruitful cooperation between Egypt and Poland in the field of archaeology, highlighting the shared interest in preserving historical heritage.
Mr. Murkociński also emphasized the importance of H.H. Pope Tawadros II’s visit to Poland, as it provides an opportunity to learn more about Christianity in Poland and the Polish Church.
For his part, H.H. Pope Tawadros welcomed his guest and provided an overview of the Coptic Orthodox Church and the Oriental Orthodox family, affirming the good ties between the Coptic Church and various Churches around the world.
