Today (Thursday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo, Dr. Rev. Andrea Zaki, Head of the Evangelical denomination in Egypt, accompanied by a delegation of representatives from the bodies and councils affiliated with the Evangelical denomination, who came to extend their greetings to His Holiness on the occasion of the Glorious Feast of the Resurrection.

His Holiness warmly welcomed the delegation and spoke to them about three fruits we have received through Christ’s work of salvation (the Incarnation, the Passion, and the Resurrection): love, grace, and fellowship.

For his part, Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki expressed his gratitude to His Holiness for the warm reception, noting that His Holiness is a symbol for all Christians in Egypt. Several members of the delegation also offered their heartfelt greetings, expressing their affection and appreciation for H.H. Pope Tawadros.
