Today (Thursday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received at the Papal Residence in Cairo, Dr. Assem El-Gazar, President of the National Front Party, accompanied by Mr. El-Sayed El-Kasir, the party’s Secretary General.

His Holiness welcomed his guests, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts between all national entities and forces, and highlighting the need to renew thought and vision in order to achieve the aspirations of the Egyptian people. Pope Tawadros stressed the importance of establishing values of dialogue and communication among all segments of society to build a stronger community.

For his part, Dr. Assem El-Gazar praised the national role of the Egyptian Church throughout its long history and its continuous efforts to support and safeguard the nation of Egypt under all circumstances.
