Today (Monday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II inaugurated a technical education class, at Saint Mark’s Cathedral in Abbassia. The inauguration coincided with the launch of the first course in metal welding, as part of the “Eyes of Egypt for Education” program run by the Papal Projects Office.
This initiative is part of a cooperation protocol signed between Factory 200 (a military production facility) and the Papal Projects Office, aimed at supporting technical education and vocational training.
The program includes both theoretical training at the cathedral and practical training at the factory, with the goal of equipping youth with job market skills. The training is provided free of charge as a grant from the Papal Projects Office.
In his speech, Pope Tawadros emphasized that human development and youth empowerment are among the Church’s top priorities.
