His Holiness Pope Tawadros II held a meeting with diocesan representatives, authorized priests, and members of the sub-ecclesiastical councils of the dioceses.

During the meeting, Pope Tawadros spoke about the fundamental role of the diocesan deputy and the importance of integrity and diligence in this role, drawing from chapter 4 of the Second Epistle of Saint Paul the Apostle to his disciple Timothy (4:1–8). He also answered their questions.

Hegumen Sergius Sergius, General Deputy of the Patriarchate in Cairo, presented several observations regarding engagement contracts, certificates of no impediment, and other Church administrative documents.

This meeting took place in accordance with the recommendation of the Synodal Committee for Diocesan Affairs, which was approved by the Holy Synod in its most recent session held on June 5.
