The Coptic Orthodox Church, under the leadership of H.H. Pope Tawadros II, extends its congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and to all the people of Egypt on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution — a revolution undertaken by the Egyptian people with the protection of the national Armed Forces and the valiant Police Forces, in defense of the nation’s history, identity, and future.

The June 2013 Revolution laid the foundation for building the New Republic, which is tasked with upholding justice, safeguarding rights, and opening horizons for everyone to strive and achieve their aspirations.

We are confident that the Egyptian state and all Egyptians are fully aware of the magnitude of the challenges ahead, and that the path of nation-building remains long — yet through sincere and diligent work, we will inevitably reach the goals we seek and hope for.

We pray that God preserves our beloved homeland, protects it from all harm, and grants it continued stability and progress.
