This afternoon, H.H. Pope Tawadros II held a meeting at the Papal Residence in Alexandria with the heads of the three Coptic schools in Alexandria. The meeting was attended by Their Graces Bishop Bavly (General Bishop of the Montazah Churches Sector), Bishop Hermina (General Bishop of the East Alexandria Churches Sector), and Hegumen Abram Emil (the General Deputy of the Patriarchate in Alexandria).
The meeting included a word from Hegumen Abram Emil, in which he thanked His Holiness for his care for education, his presence, and his encouragement of the leaders of the three Coptic schools in Alexandria. The school officials presented to His Holiness a draft of the book project titled “An Introduction to the Identity of Coptic Schools”, which contains spiritual articles, sermons, and organizational regulations for work within the Coptic schools.
In response, Pope Tawadros praised them for the excellent and well-organized presentation of the book project and for the efforts made over the past years. He expressed his hope for their continued excellence and for the book’s swift publication, adding that the model of Coptic schools in Alexandria should serve as a leading example for other Coptic schools.
