H.H. Pope Tawadros II met this evening with the priests of the churches in the Western Alexandria sector.

The meeting began with a speech by Hegumen Abram Emil; General Deputy of the Patriarchate in Alexandria and supervisor of the sector. He gave an overview of the service in the sector and pointed out two dates of particular significance for the churches of Western Alexandria:

-The year 2000: Marking the beginning of development in the sector.
-The year 2017: When H.H. Pope Tawadros assigned H.G. Bishop Elarion, the former general bishop of the sector, to oversee its pastoral care.

In his address, His Holiness spoke on the topic titled “My Church”, after which he answered the priests’ questions.
