Today (Monday), the Fifth LOGOS Coptic Youth Forum for the Coptic Orthodox Youth from all over the world visited Saint Mark’s Cathedral in Abbassia as part of the forum’s scheduled activities.
H.H. Pope Tawadros II personally welcomed the youth upon their arrival on the steps of the cathedral, where they took a commemorative photograph with him. The youth then toured the cathedral and listened to a detailed explanation of its history.
Following the visit, His Holiness attended the forum’s official luncheon, which was also graced by the presence of His Excellency Mr. Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities; Ambassador Nabil Habashi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Migration and Egyptians Abroad; along with several distinguished officials, metropolitans, bishops, and members of the House of Representatives.
The luncheon featured a video presentation on the history of the LOGOS Forums, and several participants shared their personal experiences at the event thus far. Pope Tawadros, the Minister of Tourism, and the Deputy Foreign Minister each delivered speeches relevant to the occasion.
