Today (Monday), H.H. Pope Tawadros II received a group of youth and servants from the Diocese of Austria, as part of their visit to Egypt which lasted two weeks. During this period, they provided educational and developmental services in several churches within the dioceses of Borg El-Arab, Helwan, and Beni Suef, as well as North and South Shoubra.
During his time with the group, His Holiness expressed his joy at meeting them and his appreciation for the services they had offered. He also listened to their reflections on the visit and their impressions of the service experience, particularly regarding the role of the “HIGH” office, which coordinates service efforts between dioceses abroad and the regions in Egypt most in need. This office was established by decision of the Holy Synod in March 2024, and its name “HIGH” is an acronym for “Hands in God’s Hand.”
