This morning, H.H. Pope Tawadros II attended the interactive symposium organized by the Coptic Institute for Church Management and Development (COPTICAD) at the Papal Residence in Cairo. The symposium addressed the theme: “The Institutional Leadership Approach in the Church: Why Has It Become a Necessity?”
The event aimed to discuss the concept and significance of institutional leadership, the challenges related to its application within the Church, and the role that COPTICAD can play in reinforcing this vision, which is being led by His Holiness.
The symposium concluded with several recommendations derived from the Institute’s ten years of experience in institutional development for church service. Foremost among these was the importance of developing the abilities of leaders at all levels, in order to acquire the skills of institutional leadership.
A number of bishops, priests, male and female servants from various dioceses, churches, and service sectors—particularly those with vision and an interest in strengthening institutional work within the Church—participated in the symposium.
This symposium forms part of a series of events organized by the Coptic Institute for Church Management and Development, marking the tenth anniversary of its founding by His Holiness in 2015.
